Introduction

Welcome to Notified. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience with our app. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Analytics Data

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how users interact with Notified.

Important: TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information. We use your device's vendor identifier, which is specific to our app and cannot be used to track you across other apps. We never send your notifications to TelemetryDeck.

Subscription Information

If you buy Notified Pro or leave a tip, we use a third-party service to securely manage purchases. This service processes:

• Purchase status and subscription details
• A randomly generated customer identifier
• No payment information is stored by our app

Feature Requests

When you submit a feature request:

• Your request title and description are collected
• Your email address is optional and only used if you choose to provide it
• Your votes on other feature requests
• Your vote is not identifiable

Local Data Storage

All your notifications and app data are stored locally on your device:

• Notifications you save with the Shortcuts automation
• Categories, rules and summaries
• Your settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it. Old notifications are deleted automatically after 90 days, and you can change this in Settings.

Apple Intelligence

Summaries and categories are created on your device with Apple Intelligence. Your notifications are never sent to a server for this. Codes are never used in summaries.

App Icons

To show app icons, Notified asks Apple's App Store for the icon of each app that sends you notifications, using only the app's ID (for example, com.apple.MobileSMS). The content of your notifications is never sent.

Device Permissions

Notifications

We request notification permission to send you a test notification while you set up Notified. All notifications are created locally on your device.

Face ID

Face ID is optional and used only to lock the app or show hidden codes. Notified never has access to your face data.

Third-Party Services

We use carefully selected third-party services to enhance your experience:

• Analytics: TelemetryDeck for privacy-focused usage analytics
• Subscriptions: Secure payment processing and subscription management
• Feature Requests: User feedback and feature request management
• Ads (free version only): One banner for another independent app in Settings, from Kickstart Exchange. It does not track you. Notified Pro removes it

All third-party services are chosen for their commitment to user privacy and data protection.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• The content of your notifications
• Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
• Location data
• Contact information
• Calendar or health data
• Photos or media files
• Browsing history
• Advertising identifiers
• Email addresses (unless optionally provided for support)

Email Support

When you contact support or report a bug through the app, your email may include:

• App version and device information for troubleshooting
• Your message content and, if you add one, a screenshot
• Optionally, your email address for response

Children's Privacy

Notified is designed for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Security

• All your notifications are stored locally on your device
• We use industry-standard encryption for any data transmission
• We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete any notification, or all local data by uninstalling the app
• Choose how long notifications are kept
• Contact us with any privacy concerns

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
